Richard F. Marr, Managing Partner

Mr. Marr is a thirty year veteran in the real estate development industry. His primary responsibilities today include strategic and financial planning, along with development management for individual projects. Prior to being one of the founding partners of USDG, Mr. Marr served as President of Charter Holdings, Inc., a real estate concern that managed over 8,000,000 square feet of development projects and handled property management for in excess of 7,000,000 square feet of space. In addition, Mr. Marr has served in executive capacities as President of Krupp Development Corporation in Boston, Massachusetts; President of Real Equity Group in St. Petersburg, Florida; Vice President of York Hanover in New York and Senior Vice President of Sea Pines Company in Hilton Head, South Carolina. A graduate of Yale University, Mr.  Marr also holds a California real estate broker’s license and is a member of various charitable and civic organizations.

Young K. Shin, Managing Partner

Young has three decades of working on large-scale real estate resort development projects in the United State of America as well as South Korea. The projects involved includes extensive experiences in grand scale oversea area resort development and the experienced projects are as follow;

*Busan Haeundae Resort Project which involve one 101story-high and two 80 story-high mega buildings resort project including mega shopping center which require 30 billion US dollars. He is extensively working with Tuner Construction and KPF in New York as a project management. He has worked with Westgate group and Samuel & Company Inc. who worked for LA Live! Project.

*Dong Busan Resort Development project involve 200 acre of prime ocean land around major city of Busan with Prime golf Courses, Major Hotels, Aquarium, and upgraded Condominium. He worked with Trump-World as well as Westgate also for this project.

*Busan Free Trade Zone Development involved major resort projects include Commercial, Golf Courses, Casino as well as Condominium.

*Lake Las Vegas In Nevada , PGA West in Palm Springs, California. Prior to joining Development, Mr. Shin was served as President of US Development Group in Seoul Korea for last ten years. His development background includes both commercial and residential resort projects. Young hold a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Hong ik University Seoul. Korea.

Bill McCutchan, Vice President of Construction

Bill has more than thirty years of experience in managing large scale construction projects. He has worked in senior management capacities for both the Jacobs and Swinerton organizations. Bill possesses exceptional skills in developing,
tracking and maintaining project schedules and budgets. He is responsible for supervising all construction management personnel for USDG. Bill holds a B.S. degree in Building Construction from the University of Washington, along with a MBA.

Raffaele Russo, Vice President of Marketing

Raffaele has had over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry working for major global hotel chains such as Starwood, Inter-Continental, and Hilton Worldwide. His responsibilities included managing, training, operations, sales, and marketing. Overachiever in surpassing sales quotas on annual basis. Integrating new marketing programs with internal and external stakeholders. Raffaele has maintained ties to the hotel industry through networking groups while currently employed in both the telecom and beauty products industry. Raffaele holds a Major in Business Administration from California State University Long Beach, CA.

Charles Marr, Vice President of Administration and General Counsel

A graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law, Charles practiced law with the Hirschler Fleischer law firm in Richmond, Virginia. Subsequent to that, he  has worked the past five years directly in the real estate field, serving as both general counsel and head of operations for Charter Holdings. In this capacity, he oversaw the daily operations of all properties, including being responsible for the supervision of more than two hundred staff members and multiple third party consultants. As General Counsel, Charles coordinated all work with a variety of outside legal firms involved in the firm’s development activities.

Erika Nelson, Vice President of Marketing

Erika has worked for ten years in all aspects of real estate marketing and public relations. She is responsible for the design and execution of all marketing programs for USDG, including website development, public relations, communications platforms and major events. Erika is responsible for the  creation and monitoring of budgets for all marketing programs. She is a graduate of Tufts University with a Masters Degree from the University of Texas.

Denise Winslett, Vice President of Property Management

Denise brings fifteen years of real estate and related experience to USDG. She  is currently managing more than five million square feet of space ranging from retail assets to high rise office buildings. Denise has both her RPA and FMA designations and is an active member of BOMA. She works closely  with vendors, tenants and third party companies to ensure that all properties operate efficiently and consistent with owner approved budgets.
